There are two sporty engines available for the 2018 Nissan Sentra. The first is a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine that gets up to 124 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque.

The second engine is actually smaller but offers more power. It’s a 1.6L Direct Injections Gasoline (DIG™) turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. With its turbocharged ability its capable of producing 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque.

The Nissan Sentra continues to offer options with its transmission. There are three available ones to pair with these engines. There’s a 6-speed manual transmission, an Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT®), and an Xtronic CVT with Manual Shift Mode.

There’s more power available in the 2018 Nissan Altima. It’s the larger of the two sedans and has two bigger engines to choose from.

The base engine is a 2.5L 4-cylinder that can get up to 179 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. A larger 3.5L V6 engine is also available and offers a big jump in power. It can produce up to 270 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque.

While there is no manual transmission available with the Nissan Altima, there is an Xtronic CVT® with available paddle shifters to give you control over the gear shifting without needing a clutch.

The Nissan Altima also features 60/40 split fold-down rear seats to give you easy access to a slightly larger trunk with 15.4 cubic feet of space in it.

The dashboard on the 2018 Nissan Sentra keeps you connected with a 5.8-inch color touch-screen monitor that features the Nissan Navigation System.
